Our client has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Architectural Technician to join a well-established architecture firm in a permanent position. As the selected candidate, you will be expected to work on‑site, with flexible working hours, from our client’s office located near Liverpool. Within this position, you will be responsible for a variety of Commercial, Healthcare, Defence, and Education projects.
 * Competitive salary of £45,000‑£55,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities
 * Produce accurate technical architecture drawings and specifications for a variety of Commercial, Healthcare, Education, and Defence projects, across all project stages.
 * Work alongside multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, clients, and designers to ensure that all designs align with the project specifications.
 * Conduct quality assurance, compliance, and design reviews, ensuring that all work aligns with current regulations and policies.
 * Coordinate project schedules, visualisations, and documentation, allowing for efficient planning and construction to take place.
 * Locate potential design risks, concerns and challenges and put forward solutions and rectifications, whilst supporting value engineering.
 * Conduct site visits and meetings, ensuring that the project aligns with the plans and specifications, whilst also coordinating with stakeholders.
Requirements
 * Previous experience as an Architectural Technician, or a similar role, within a design or consultancy field.
 * Solid technical background, with an understanding of software tools such as Revit, CAD, and/or BIM, with a strong understanding of drawing principles.
 * Strong understanding of current building regulations, detailing, and construction methods and strategies.
 * Effective communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to build and maintain rapport with engineers, contractors, and clients.
 * Sound organisation skills, with a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage several concurrent projects.
