Integra Education is looking for dedicated Tutors in Bolton to support young people who have become disengaged from mainstream education. Many of our students have SEND or SEMH needs and require a mentor as much as a teacher. If you prefer building deep, 1-1 connections over managing a busy classroom, this is the role for you.
The Role:
This isn't just about ticking boxes; it’s about rebuilding confidence.
Personalised Tuition: Deliver 1:1 or small group sessions in English, Maths, or your specialist subject.
Flexible Settings: Work in schools, pupils' homes, or local community hubs across Bolton.
Tailored Approach: Adapt your teaching to meet specific SEMH/SEND needs, ensuring no student is left behind.
Long-term Impact: Build consistent, meaningful relationships that help students re-engage with education.
What You’ll Need
Experience: Proven track record as a Tutor or Teacher (Primary or Secondary).
Qualifications: QTS, PGCE, or PGDE is preferred, but we value experience and subject mastery (English/Maths).
Curriculum Knowledge: A solid understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
Mindset: You must be patient, adaptable, and comfortable working independently.
Compliance: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
