Job Title: HLTA / Unqualified Teacher / ECT looking for TA - Year 4 Support Location: Solihull Start Date: After Half Term Contract: Full-time (5 days per week) Rate: £100 - £120 per day (dependent on experience) Monarch Education, part of Affinity Workforce, is working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Solihull to appoint a committed HLTA or Unqualified Teacher to work full‑time in a Year 4 class. This role will involve supporting the class teacher throughout the school day, delivering high-quality learning support, and providing whole‑class cover when required. The school is seeking a confident and adaptable individual who is passionate about supporting pupils' progress and contributing positively to the classroom environment. The position is 5 days per week, starting after half term and continuing until the end of the academic year. The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold an HLTA qualification or have significant experience working as an Unqualified Teacher or Cover Supervisor. Be confident taking the lead and delivering whole‑class lessons when the teacher is absent or away from the classroom. Demonstrate strong behaviour‑management strategies and the ability to create a calm, focused learning environment. Work collaboratively as part of the Year 4 team, supporting the class teacher with planning, preparation, interventions, and general classroom duties. Build positive relationships with pupils and staff, promoting inclusion, consistency, and high expectations. Show flexibility, initiative, and a proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning. Have excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Bring enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive "can‑do" attitude to every aspect of the role.
