The Role – Mechanical Product Engineer
We have an excellent opportunity for an analytical mechanical engineering professional to join a prominent global aerospace business in a Product Engineering position.
You will be responsible for resolving complex issues related to the design, assembly, and testing processes of production hardware.
You’ll be joining a fantastic team in a purpose-built modern facility where you’ll be able to showcase your skills and expertise in a highly technical and challenging product supporting role.
Duties – Mechanical Product Engineer
* Analyse production data to identify improvement opportunities.
* Maintain process control, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
* Support product and process changes.
* Technical input using APQP techniques to support new programs and PPAP submissions.
* Gather engineering insight and communicate findings with suppliers and customers.
* Specify new test equipment for product output.
* Support sustainment team to identify issues across software, electronics, and hydraulics.
* Conduct GD&T analysis of assemblies and components for non-conforming parts.
Background – Mechanical Product Engineer
* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
* Core experience in Mechanical Engineering
* Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic principles desirable
* Proficiency in PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams.
* Strong presentation and organizational skills.
* Data analysis skills.
