You’ll be joining an award-winning, forward-thinking team, supported by a 24-hour service run by our own expert night clinicians — ensuring seamless patient care and no overnight duties.

The Role

As Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll guide and inspire a skilled, supportive team in delivering the highest standards of care. You’ll have access to top-of-the-range equipment, including:

* Advanced ultrasound
* Dental X-ray
* Modern surgical and diagnostic tools

This is a 4-day working week with 1 in 3 Saturdays – giving you the balance you deserve to thrive both professionally and personally.

Support & Development

We believe in lifelong learning. That’s why we offer full support for advanced certificates as CPD, or alternatively, a £2,000 CPD budget with 5 days to pursue your clinical interests.

Location: Grove Park, Chiswick
Working Pattern: 4 days per week + 1 in 3 Saturdays
Nights: Covered by our in-house 24-hour team

About Us

DNA Vetcare is a proudly independent group of multi award-winning surgeries, founded in 2006 by veterinary surgeons Alan van Heerden and Dane Walker. Dane and Alan have taken their years of experience working in numerous high quality practices, to provide exceptional vet care across London and Kent. Claire Baker joined Alan and Dane as a Director in 2019, originally arriving at the main London hospital in 2013 as a locum. Claire heads up the Group’s operations and vet team recruitment.

DNA Vetcare has a network of excellent veterinary surgeons who have been handpicked for their clinical skills, experience and ability to provide compassionate care for your four-legged (or three-legged, finned or feathered) friend. This network of excellence is the foundation on which we have built a strong reputation for providing the very best care to pets and owners alike.
