Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our amazing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support during dental procedures. You will assist the dentist in delivering high-quality dental services while ensuring a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients.
Duties
* Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilised.
* Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with health regulations.
* Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients to ensure continuity of care.
* Ensure the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
* Adhere to practice protocols and maintain a safe working environment for both staff and patients.
Skills
* Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding.
* Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
* Dental Nursing experience is essential.
* Good IT skills for managing patient records and appointment systems.
* Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
* Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy dental practice, to ensure smooth running of the surgery within given time.
Certificates
* dental nursing qualification or equivalent
* current registration with GDC
* PVG
* Hep B evidence

Pay: £24,420.00-£28,392.05 per year
