Overview
As a Bank Regional Care Assistant with Barchester care homes, you'll deliver warm, empathetic and respectful care and support across a 20-mile radius to help residents get the most out of life. It is a varied role that includes cover as and when needed. You will monitor the delivery of care, contribute to person-centred care planning, and provide support and companionship to residents.
Responsibilities
* Monitor the delivery of care when on duty and contribute to the person-centred care planning process for each resident.
* Record observations (e.g., temperature and blood pressure) and perform other important tasks as required.
* Provide support and meaningful one-to-one time with residents to enhance wellbeing and engagement.
* Travel across the area; mileage is covered when travelling over five miles from your main home.
* Cover shifts as needed to support annual leave or sickness absence for the team.

About You
* Background in care with a good understanding of elderly care.
* Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care would be beneficial.
* GCSE English and Maths (C or above) preferred.
* Dedicated, compassionate, and able to travel across the area; own car or ready access to one is required.
* Flexibility to cover shifts and support the team as needed.
