We are recruiting general operators to join our team, who want to be part of our growth. Our sites are located just off Cowpen Road in Blyth, Northumberland.
Our Press Brake team works on a nightshift rotation, 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, so candidates must be willing and able to work shifts.
What You’ll Do
* Program, set up, and operate our press brakes for bending various metals.
* Review plans, adjust machine settings for speed, material feed, and path, ensuring proper setup for quality output.
* Create Standard Operating Procedures and support process development.
* Maintain machines at full capacity, perform periodic checks, and ensure materials are stocked and equipment is well-maintained.
* Follow and improve processes to optimize production efficiency.
We’d Love You To Have
* Process experience on press brakes, ideally Trumpf machines.
* Ability to set different tooling on various machine types.
* Skill in reading technical drawings in both 3rd and 1st angle projection.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting production schedules and targets.
* Enjoyment in identifying and implementing process improvements.
* Strong numerical skills to understand complex instructions and ensure correct manufacturing.
* Problem-solving skills.
