Mazuma is a dynamic, innovative, and growing company looking for an Accountant to join us as a key player on the Accounting team.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing and overseeing financial records including self-assessment tax returns and year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, LLPs and limited companies.
As an Accountant, you will deliver exceptional customer service to Mazuma’s clients, providing timely and insightful advice, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory standards. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring that deadlines are met.
The key responsibilities of the role include: preparing year end accounts, self-assessment tax returns, partnership tax returns and corporation tax returns, as well as checking monthly management accounts and VAT returns.
Qualifications and Skills
* Minimum AAT Level 4 qualification or be part ACCA/ICAEW qualified with a view to continue studies to completion
* Excellent customer service skills
* The ability to prioritise workloads and take initiative
* Excellent communication skills
* A keen eye for detail
* The ability to work without supervision
* Strong IT, numeracy and literacy proficiency
