Our Plymouth Parent's Accommodation and Support Service (PPAS) is an exciting and vital project, providing support and independent living skills to parents (aged 16+) and their children, who live in our supported accommodation.
We are looking for a caring and trustworthy person who enjoys being busy, to join our amazing PPAS team. As a night support worker you will be helping parents develop independent living and parenting skills. We are looking for someone with a passion to bring their experience and transferable skills into our friendly team.
This role is a night working position that will be covering shifts on a rota basis. The shifts are on Thursdays and every other Wednesday from 8.30pm until 7am.
By providing quality one to one support, you will work alongside parents and their children in Plymouth who are experiencing significant challenges, helping them to attain a better life by enabling and supporting them:
* to be safe
* to become sustainably housed
* to develop positive parenting skills
* to gain the life skills they need to achieve and maintain independent living
* by promoting engagement and facilitating access to services that can further enhance their skill development

You will be required to work closely in reporting any Safeguarding concerns raised and attend multi-Agency meetings with other professionals involved.
