Role Overview
Responsible for the service schedule of Solar PV systems with assistance for the maintenance, and repair of renewable energy systems ASHP, GSHP, MVHR & EAHP. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair renewable energy systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Conduct site assessments and audits to evaluate system efficiency and recommend improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime for clients
- Provide training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of their renewable energy systems
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for system enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and report on system performance
Skills & Experience
- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, BPEC, or equivalent Electrical qualification (essential)
- Solar PV Installer Qualification (Level 3) (essential)
- Full valid UK driving licence (essential)
- Experience within social housing desirable
- Experience with heat pumps, district heating, or hybrid renewable systems
- Strong understanding of domestic hot water and low-temperature heating systems
- Strong technical report writing and communication skills
