Senior Stores Coordinator / Stores Team Leader Location: Brooklands, Surrey Contract: 6-months Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 18:00 Rate: Approx. £22 per hour Role Overview We are recruiting a Senior Stores Coordinator / Team Leader to lead the stores operation within a high-pace motorsport freight environment. This role combines hands-on stores coordination with team leadership, operational decision-making, and responsibility for daily performance. You will ensure that the stores function operates smoothly and efficiently while supporting and guiding team members in a demanding, deadline-driven setting. Key Responsibilities Leading and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the stores team Acting as the primary point of contact for stores-related queries and decisions Planning workloads and setting priorities in line with operational demands Making timely, informed decisions to keep freight and parts moving efficiently Overseeing stock accuracy, goods in/out, and documentation standards Providing hands-on support within the stores as required Coaching, supporting, and leading Stores Coordinators Communicating clearly with freight, logistics, and operational teams Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in a stores, logistics, or freight coordination role Previous supervisory or team leadership experience Strong administrative and organisational capability Confidence in decision-making and prioritisation under pressure Background in motorsport, engineering, aerospace, or fast-moving operational environments desirable Strong IT and reporting skills Personal Attributes Approachable but decisive leader who leads by example Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills Team-focused with a clear commitment to collaborative working Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting
