Graduate Learning Support Assistant
Full-Time | Term-Time Only | Start ASAP or September 2025
Are you a recent graduate or due to finish your degree soon and keen to make a difference in young lives?
Do you have an interest in supporting children with additional needs or those requiring extra academic support?
Perhaps you're considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, or speech and language therapy, and want to gain hands-on experience in a nurturing classroom environment?
A welcoming and inclusive primary school based on the Wirral is looking to appoint a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with SEN and those falling behind academically. This full-time, long-term position is ideal for a graduate seeking meaningful experience ahead of a career in education or child development.
* Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
* Weekly pay: Up to £550 per week as a Graduate Learning Support Assistant
* Start date: Immediate or September 2025
* Work 1:1 and in small groups with children requiring additional support
* Support pupils with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and learning delays
* Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted support
Candidate Requirements: Graduate Learning Support Assistant
* A 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology, Education, or a related subject
* A passion for working with children and supporting their progress
* Any prior experience with SEN or in a classroom/childcare setting is desirable
* Empathetic, patient, and proactive approach to learning support
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Build confidence and practical understanding of primary education
