A vacancy has arisen for a Corporal Logs (MTD) to serve as JNCO MTD Instructor on 501 Sqn at RAF Brize Norton on Full Time Reserve Service (Limited Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS), with an initial proposed start date of 03 August 2026 (or earlier/later, subject to candidate status). This post is responsible to OC 501 Sqn for the delivery and facilitation of all professional MT Trade training to current Defence School of Transport (DST) standards. Job specifications: a. Carry out instructional duties for those courses detailed in the 501 Sqn Annual Training programme. b. Facilitate the completion of Category C, Category CE and Category D licences by PTVR Drivers through the DST or MOD Driver training contract. c. Liaise with DST, RAF Brize Norton or any other external agency to ensure all resources are available to delivery any training undertaken by phase 2 or phase 3 personnel. d. Undertake the planning, organisation and execution of Driver training serials during Sqn Duty Weekends, providing Subject Matter Expertise on all Logs MTD activities including safety. e. Support Logs (MTD) taskings during periods of spare capacity.
