Business Compliance Enforcement Officer Location: Birmingham City Council Pay: £14.50 per hour Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri About the Role We’re seeking confident, professional, and motivated individuals to join our team as Business Compliance Enforcement Officers. In this role, you will patrol commercial areas across Birmingham, engaging with local businesses to ensure compliance with environmental legislation, waste management requirements, and council policies. You’ll provide guidance, carry out inspections, and issue Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs). This is a frontline enforcement role that involves regular interaction with business owners, ensuring they meet their responsibilities to keep Birmingham clean and compliant. About Us Waste Investigations Support & Enforcement (WISE) works in partnership with Local Authorities nationwide to tackle environmental crime and strengthen compliance standards. Using advanced technology and extensive enforcement experience, we support councils in maintaining cleaner, safer, and more accountable communities.
