Job Opportunity: Accounts Assistant
My client, a fast-growing sustainability business based in the Swinton Area, is seeking an Accounts Assistant due to the company's expansion. Reporting to the Finance and Payroll Manager, this role offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop their skills and make a significant impact within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily financial operations, including purchase and sales ledgers, credit control, bank reconciliations, and monthly accruals and prepayments for the new entity.
2. Oversee debtors, creditors, and control accounts management and reconciliation.
3. Administer supplier payment runs.
4. Prepare quarterly VAT returns for the UK and Europe.
5. Assist in the preparation of management accounts across the group.
6. Analyze internal reports and data.
7. Support monthly payroll processes.
8. Assist with the annual group audit.
9. Provide cover and support for group purchase and sales ledger functions as required.
