As a Material Coordinator at Terex based in Omagh, you'll play a pivotal role in producing equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.
What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor the Material Coordinator will oversee and coordinate the incoming deliveries to the Cookstown road Fabrication site & outgoing deliveries from Fabrication to Paint. Coordinate the sites delivery vehicles and liaise other production areas and external suppliers to ensure the smooth flow of material.
1. Controlling and managing the day-to-day delivery schedules to achieve takt, build to schedule and on time delivery targets.
2. Updating Fabrication schedules
3. Represent Fabrication in production meetings
4. Coordinate all incoming delivery vehicles organizing the unloading/ loading of components
5. Control incoming/outgoing delivery receipts
6. Control the storage of steel components in the yard (general tidiness of the drop/storage locations)
7. Control the incoming inventory to the main production site assisting in audits and cycle counts
8. Schedule incoming components from external suppliers to meet production demands
9. Organize the transportation of steel components to and from the main site to offsite production areas
10. Complete van delivery and collection of parts/components as and when required
11. Hold yard meetings and ensure site rules and guidelines are adhered to
12. Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
13. To maintain compliance to all Health and Safety Regulations
14. Feed material to fabrication sheds as and when needed
15. Maintain & upkeep high standard of yard 5S

About you
16. Experience with controlling inventory deliveries within a fast-moving production environment
17. Experience with planning, organizing, directing and controlling the activities and resources necessary to achieve daily targets
18. Have a working understanding of lean manufacturing, 5S, JIT and continuous improvement techniques
19. Computer literate in the Microsoft office packages
20. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
21. Ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision
22. Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and schematics
23. Forklift truck driving license
24. Ability to demonstrate effective leadership, in both strategic and tactical decision making
