If you have not yet gained this qualification, appointment would be made on a fixed term basis for a period not exceeding 23 months. If you gain the qualification within 23 months of appointment you would be changed to permanent status.

Please note, teachers in their probationary year are welcome to apply for temporary, un-promoted vacancies although would be paid at the probationer rate of pay (Main Grade Scale Point 0) at £31,584 per year (pro-rata, if applicable).
