As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with the teaching team to ensure students are supported both academically and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include providing one-on-one and small group support, assisting with lesson delivery, and maintaining an inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive.
Teaching Assistant (TA) Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and learning activities.
* Provide individualised support to students who require extra assistance.
* Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
* Help students remain focused and motivated with their studies.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to meet the needs of all learners.
Requirements of a Teaching Assistant (TA):
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
* A CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance is beneficial but not essential.
* A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is advantageous.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills to support students effectively.
* A patient, adaptable, and positive approach to working with children.
* An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
