SEND Sufficiency Programme Lead Rate: £648.15 per day Contract: 6 months Hours: 22.5 hours per week Working pattern: 3 days per week Location: Hybrid – home working with travel across Westmorland and Furness We are seeking an experienced SEND Sufficiency Programme Lead to support a local authority in delivering strategic improvements across SEND and education services. This is a part-time interim contract working 22.5 hours per week across 3 days, with a mix of home working, attendance in Kendal, and travel across schools and settings within the local authority area. The Role You will support the council to: Refresh the SEND Sufficiency Strategy and Delivery Plan Deliver key actions linked to the SEND Reform Plan Provide practical support to improve SEND sufficiency delivery Strengthen the council’s long-term approach to SEND sufficiency planning Work collaboratively with education providers and internal stakeholders Requirements To be considered, you will have: Previous experience delivering education or SEND programmes Experience working within local authority children’s services Strong understanding of SEND and education provision Ability to work at both strategic and operational level Full driving licence and access to a vehicle Why work through Pertemps?
