Reed are supporting a local client in Bridgnorth to appoint a Management Accountant. Join this manufacturing client at a time of growth and investment. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Financial Controller to delivery timely finance reporting.
Responsibilities:
* Produce financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual)
* Lead close processes (month-end, quarter-end, year-end)
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP)
* Conduct variance and trend analysis
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and audits
* Improve reporting processes and systems
* Use advanced Excel for data manipulation and reporting
Requirements:
* Advanced Excel skills
* 3+ years in financial reporting
* Strong understanding of accounting principles
* Analytical mindset and attention to detail
* Clear communication with finance and non-finance stakeholders
* Organised, deadline-driven, and proactive
