Care Home Education Facilitator, NHS Grampian (Band 6)
Location: NHS Grampian – Office base negotiable. 4 days/28.8 hrs per week (Permanent).
About the role
Working in partnership with another Care Home Education Facilitator, you will help sustain and expand the number of Care Homes that support students in practice. You will enhance the quality of the clinical learning environment, provide education, guidance and developmental support to care home staff. You will work autonomously and collaboratively, building strong relationships with nursing and managerial colleagues at all levels, supporting innovation, implementing change and promoting continuous improvement in practice learning.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience at Band 5 or above, including supporting, supervising and assessing learners.
* Experience as a Practice Supervisor and/or Practice Assessor.
* Genuine interest in supporting Care Homes and their workforce.
* Ability to motivate, influence and lead change using strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills.
* Experience in the facilitation of learning in practice.
