The Role
Provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling clinicians to operate effectively and efficiently. Work in accordance with standard operating procedures.
What we’ll need you to bring
* SVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) plus at least 2 years experience in healthcare administration or at least 3 years experience in a secretarial role
* Understanding of medical terminology
* Evidence of effective team working and dealing with change
* Evidence of strong communication skills with patients, clinicians and colleagues.
* Excellent organisational skills
* Evidence of strong competence with relevant IT systems
* Audio typing skills
It would be great if you also have
* Demonstrable experience in healthcare or administration or extensive experience in a secretarial role
* Busy medical environment experience
* Evidence of effective team working and dealing with change

Location and Working Pattern
* This role will be based in Medical Directorate within University Hospital Wishaw
