Demonstrated success leading projects or services, with a track record of enhancing and refining operational processes. Practical experience contributing to governance frameworks, overseeing risk, or delivering outcomes in compliance-driven settings. Strong capability to interpret licensing agreements and apply intellectual property terms effectively across diverse technical teams. Sound judgement with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity in a methodical and forward-thinking manner. Clear, confident communicator with the ability to lead discussions and facilitate effective decision-making. Background in managing compliance-related activities within large-scale engineering environments (desirable). Familiarity with intellectual property platforms and product lifecycle management systems, including tools such as Teamcenter (desirable). Understanding of intellectual property controls and relevant regulatory expectations, including those aligned to ONR frameworks (desirable). Recognised Project Management qualification or substantial equivalent practical experience (desirable). Responsibilities: Establish and sustain robust governance frameworks for the management of licensed technical data. Ensure IPLA procedures are clearly defined, implemented, and consistently adhered to. Act as the initial point of contact for IP-related enquiries, managing and escalating complex matters as appropriate. Ensure governance arrangements enable delivery while remaining fully aligned with contractual obligations. Collaborate with Legal, Supply Chain, IT, and Engineering teams to address and resolve IP-related challenges. Provide IP representation within audits and governance forums, maintaining clear oversight and reporting. Drive improvements to IP systems, tools, workflows, and overall service design. Facilitate secure and traceable transfer of licensed technical data between the two sites.
