Overview
Lecturer in Written assessments and academic support for the KMMS BMBS programme.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the development of written assessment content throughout the KMMS BMBS programme, ensuring GMC requirements for a Primary Medical Qualification are met.
* Support subject module leaders and administrative staff in the development, maintenance and delivery of all written assessments.
* Devise, develop and deliver academic support to students at risk of failing or who have failed assessments.
* Contribute to and influence preparations for effective internal and external academic quality and governance processes and systems, including those associated with professional, statutory and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
* A primary and postgraduate degree in a medical specialty or in a subject closely related to the KMMS BMBS programme.
* Experience of successful assessment design, implementation and evaluation in medical education.
* Experience and understanding of supporting healthcare professional students/trainees with academic difficulties.
* Understanding of current issues in undergraduate medical education.
* Experience of and commitment to academic leadership and management.
Salary
£39,355 to £54,136 per annum pro rata, Grade 7 to Grade 8
