The Role
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager who has a passion and flair for customer service to work alongside our Store Manager in our Bicester Village Store. You should be able to offer an exceptional customer experience that is welcoming, genuine and in line with our brand values. This is a full time position, at 37.5 hours per week.
As an Assistant Store Manager you will have a passion for wellbeing and customer service, sharing this daily with your team so that you can create an exceptional inviting customer experience in your store.
With support from your Store Manager, you will help to oversee a variety of aspects of your store from team management and coaching to driving sales and service. You should have a strong focus on your team, leading and motivating them, treating everyone equally and with honesty and kindness. Your store is one of our many wellbeing hubs across the UK and Ireland, that plays a vital part in the retail side of NEOM.
This position requires someone who is available to work weekdays and weekends. Late nights and travel to other stores may be required.
What You Will Do
* Be responsible for the day to day running of a standalone store and team
* Drive forward sales, KPIs and company objectives
* Assist the Store Manager with payroll, rotas, stocktakes, and reports
* Give insight to support you Store Managers quarterly business plans and help develop training plans to action these in store
* Assist the store manager with targets, payroll, rotas, stocktakes, weekly/monthly reports, stock orders
* Work closely with cross functional teams within NEOM
* Weekly creation of fun in store content for our online/social platforms
* Create and drive an unforgettable NEOM customer experience in store to inspire wellbeing
* Lead by example and support your team with daily tasks
* Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and visual merchandising are upheld
* Help to create an Annual Events Plan supporting monthly instore and field events to promote NEOM as a brand whilst working with partnering businesses/people
* Develop and mentor a team with a focus on training, education, and development
* Responsibility for any Health & Safety issues that arise and ensure the correct action is appropriately taken
* Any other reasonable duties as requested by your line Manager
Requirements
* 2 years minimum experience managing a standalone store
* Retail experience within health/beauty environment
* Have the desire and capability to coach and develop your team to reach their full potential
* Confidence in the use of MS Office and Excel
* Confident communicator - treat everyone with honesty, kindness and respect
* Able to work effectively with cross functional teams
* Self motivator and be able to maintain impeccable standards in store
* The ability to work retail hours - which will include weekends and evenings
* Team focused with a can-do attitude and a positive, growth mindset
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail & excellent communicator
* Genuine passion & enthusiasm for the brand, and beauty/wellness industry
