We are working exclusively with a leading chilled food manufacturer that supply a range of products to retailers across the UK. They are looking to appoint experienced and proactive Quality professional as Quality Manager at their large facility in Hertfordshire

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products consistently meet internal quality standards and comply with food safety regulations, including HACCP and BRC. You will lead a dedicated quality control team, oversee inspections, testing, and audits across all stages of production, and maintain robust quality documentation and reporting systems. A key part of the role involves managing supplier quality, addressing customer complaints with a solutions-focused approach, and championing continuous improvement initiatives. You will also play a vital role in upholding hygiene and sanitation standards and managing any quality-related risks, helping to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality produce to our customers.
The candidate:
* At least 3 years experience in a Quality Management or Supervisory role in a food manufacturing environment
* A Food Science degree is desirable.
* HACCP level 3 + and Food Safety level 3 +
* Excellent working knowledge of BRC.
