Bridge education seeks a reliable and proactive School Cleaner/Site Supervisor to join a well‑maintained school site in Preston supporting the day‑to‑day running of the premises. This part‑time, long‑term position is responsible for ensuring the school environment is safe, secure and well‑presented for pupils, staff and visitors.
Hours for the job are 10am start to 6pm finish Monday to Friday.
School Caretaker benefits

School Caretaker role requirements
* Previous experience in caretaking, facilities, maintenance or a similar role
* Basic DIY and maintenance skills
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations
* Ability to work independently and manage workload
* Reliable and proactive approach
* Good communication skills
* Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment
* Enhanced DBS on the updated service or willingness to apply
The successful School Caretaker will:
* Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across the school site
* Ensure site security, including opening and closing the premises
* Conduct regular health and safety checks
* Maintain cleanliness of internal and external areas
* Liaise with contractors and external providers where required
* Support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the school site
