SLR has a busy, well-established hydrology and hydrogeology team comprising over 45 specialists distributed across its UK offices. Our Earth Science teams have extensive experience in the energy, waste, mining, and commercial and residential development sectors. Due to ongoing success and a busy forward order book, we are looking to expand the team with a hydrology graduate, working from one of our English offices (London, Nottingham, Manchester, Bristol, Bradford-on-Avon).
This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a large team of specialists and be part of a wider group including hydrology, geochemistry, and hydrogeology consultants.

Key Responsibilities
Working with Technical Directors responsible for hydrology and flood risk, the successful candidate will undertake tasks such as water quality monitoring, site walkover surveys, supervising site investigations, flood risk assessments, data interpretation, and preparing hydrological risk assessments and chapters for Environmental Impact Assessment Reports.
This role may involve projects across the UK and internationally, with occasional periods working away from home.
Candidate Requirements
* Holds a relevant educational background (BEng/BSc, MEng/MSc) or equivalent;
* Professional with effective communication skills;
* Analytical thinker capable of problem reframing and solution identification;
* Team player with initiative;
* Builds strong, lasting relationships;
* Effective time manager with a positive attitude;
* Holds a full, current UK driving licence.
