The opportunity has arisen for a Contracts and Commercial Consultant to join our team.


Responsibilities / Role:

1. Working in a team of Commercial Managers and consultants, you will be a key member of the Consulting Team from both management level to consultant level in Sales & Delivery;
2. Discuss customer requirements and advise on the capabilities and limitations of Oracle’s contracting process;
3. Model pricing structures for products to work toward a customer’s budget or sales commercial efforts;
4. Determine the appropriate method of contracting;
5. Draft contracts and process them through internal business approvals;
6. Draft nonstandard contracts, including contracts for Public Sector Customers via the G-Cloud Framework;
7. Analyze and interpret information received from the consulting sales teams to formulate and implement recommendations and solutions;
8. Prepare, deliver and conduct training sessions for the consulting sales teams on internal business processes;
9. Build relationships with key stakeholders within the business to provide guidance related to deal modelling and contract drafting;
10. Stay up-to-date with advances in product/field and suggest possible improvements to deal modelling or contract drafting;
11. Mentor and train junior team members.


Qualifications:

Career Level - IC4


Requirements:

* Experience in dealing with contracts and commercial processes in a sales environment, including all tasks listed above;
* Excellent understanding of pricing models and service contract structures and drafting guidelines;
* Experience using software to automate approvals, contract processing, and project profitability;
* Degree educated;
* Ability to focus and work under pressure to meet deadlines;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
* Fluency in English;
* Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with remote teams;
* Problem identification and solving skills.
