The Role
As Head of Sales, you’ll be the catalyst for your team’s success. You’ll lead energising daily huddles, coach through role-play scenarios, and ensure KPIs are consistently met. Your leadership will shape a culture of excellence, from recruitment and onboarding to ongoing development. Expect to spend three days managing the internal sales team and two days supporting field sales operations.
Key Duties
o Facilitate daily team huddles and celebrate achievements
o Deliver hands-on training and coaching sessions
o Conduct regular one-to-one meetings and performance reviews
o Drive personal sales activity to set the standard
o Ensure effective use of CRM and pre-visit planning tools
o Oversee qualification pipelines and establish SMART objectives
Requirements
About You
o A confident communicator who leads by example
o Exceptionally organised with a strategic mindset
o Motivated by results and accountability
o Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
o Knowledgeable in adhesives or related sectors (inks, coatings, packaging)
Preferred Experience
o Proven track record in sales, ideally with formal training
o Skilled in solution-based selling, preferably with a technical background
o Experienced in hiring, managing, and developing teams
o Strong geographical awareness for effective travel planning
Benefits
Salary £50,000 - £65,000 DOE + Uncapped Bonus + Car Allowance
