Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Supported Housing Officer to manage a support service to vulnerable adults across South London.
Responsibilities of the Supported Housing Officer:
Take ownership of supported accommodation services within the organisation.
Carry out regular reviews of housing schemes.
Deliver effective tenancy and lease management
Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, partners, and stakeholders.
Ensure housing schemes remain fully compliant with all requirements.
Manage empty properties, from inspection through to allocation and sign-up.
Work with colleagues across repairs, lettings, and support teams to resolve issues quickly.
Make sure health, safety, and fire safety actions are completed and recorded.
Maintain accurate and compliant resident records.
Review service charges, carry out estate inspections, and monitor cleaning and grounds contracts.
Address tenancy breaches and property misuse effectively.
Handle tenancy changes such as assignments, exchanges, and successions.
Support the management of anti-social behaviour cases, including joint investigations.
Coordinate with repairs teams on complex or sensitive repair cases.
Take part in an emergency out-of-hours rota when required.Essential Experience of the Supported Housing Officer:
Full UK Driving License and business insurance
