Requirements
The duties of this position involve regulated work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a PVG Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or if already a member, to undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update before any formal employment offer is made by East Ayrshire Council. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a temporary part-time position based at Kilmarnock Academy within the William McIlvanney Campus, Kilmarnock. The post is valid until 28 June 2026. The hours are 7 hours per week, directed by the line manager. The full-time salary range is £40,305 - £50,589 per annum, with the part-time equivalent between £8,061 - £10,118 per annum.
