We are looking for a dedicated professional to lead the development and execution of technical strategies tailored for Motor Claims, ensuring efficient claims management, driving indemnity improvement initiatives, and fostering technical excellence within our Motor Claims team. Join us and play a key role in shaping the future of our claims operations.
What you’ll be doing
* Lead developing technical strategies for Motor Claims, focusing on indemnity performance and technical integrity.
* Support the Head of Technical and operational teams to analyse performance and implement best practices.
* Represent claims in technical forums relevant to Motor Claims, influencing strategy and approach.
* Collaborate with QA teams to identify leakages and areas for process optimization in Motor Claims.
* Participate in large loss reviews, trend analysis, and QBRs to drive continuous improvement in Motor Claims.
* Act as a final technical referral point for the Motor claims team, providing guidance on complex claims issues and technical best practices.
AXA supports a flexible working pattern. You will work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
What you’ll bring
* Good knowledge of the Motor Claims market and ability to identify opportunities.
* Deep understanding of Motor Claims technical strategy development and processes.
* Analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence to Director level.
* Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., ACII or equivalent).
This position is defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role. In addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
