Visa sponsorship is available for overseas GDMS/GDMI wishing to relocate.
Starting salary: £34,805 - £38,388 per annum, negotiable depending on experience, plus £4,200 London Weighting for London-based roles.
Guide Dogs welcomes applications from qualified GDMS/GDMI interested in working across UK sites. Our guides are central to our core service, delivering exceptional support for people with sight loss. As a Guide Dog Mobility Specialist, you will work with our Vision Rehabilitation Specialists and Guide Dog Trainers to create effective guide dog partnerships, emphasizing a person- and dog-centered approach, using modern, science-based, positive reinforcement techniques.
The role involves 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Candidate profile
To fulfill this role, candidates should have:
* GDMI/GDMS qualification recognized by the International Guide Dogs Federation with recent practice within the last 5 years
* Experience working for an organization recognized by the International Guide Dogs Federation
* A valid UK/EU driving license or a plan to fulfill role without one
* Experience coaching and teaching practical skills and theoretical knowledge to adults and/or children
* Willingness and ability to drive dog-carrying vehicles
* Understanding of theories and models related to teaching, coaching, and person-centered work
