Site Agent Civil Engineering (Roads & Infrastructure)Location: LouthSalary: £70,000 £80,000We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead delivery on a major road construction project in Louth, with a strong focus on earthworks and site works. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving performance on site and ensuring safety, quality, and programme targets are consistently achieved.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage site teams, including engineers, direct labour, and subcontractors across all earthworks and site works activitiesDrive project progress on site, planning and coordinating daily operations to maintain programme momentumOversee Temporary Works design and coordinationTake full ownership of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) compliance at all timesImplement and maintain strict quality control proceduresWork closely with the Project Manager to support day-to-day project deliveryProvide input on constructability, cost efficiency, and overall project performanceMaintain accurate and comprehensive site records in line with internal proceduresIdentify and escalate risks or issues that may impact programme, cost, resources, or safetyContribute to programme development, including master programmes, 6-week lookaheads, and short-term planningCoordinate and prioritise site activities to ensure efficient sequencing of worksDeliver works in line with the project plan, ensuring timelines and budgets are metAbout You:Proven experience managing civil engineering projects, ideally within roads or infrastructureStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent understanding of earthworks and site operationsConfident in programme planning and short-term schedulingCommitted to high standards of health & safety and qualityThis is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile infrastructure project and play a pivotal role in its successful delivery.For more information or to apply, please contact: | Skills:road civil constructionWHJS1_NI
