We’re looking for experienced CNC Machinists to join our team at RCR Mining Technologies in Welshpool. You’ll be working on big gear — machining heavy components used in mining and materials handling equipment.
About the Job
We have both Day and Afternoon Shifts on offer, working across a range of large CNC machines.
You’ll be:
* Programming and running CNC machines using G-Codes, Mastercam, and AutoCAD
* Checking parts to make sure they meet spec and quality standards
* Working on large-scale components across our modern workshop
Machines include:
* Horizontal Lathe – up to 6 metres long
* Vertical Borer – 1m diameter chuck
* Vertical Machining Centre – 0.8m x 1.8m table
* Large Floor Borer – jobs up to 88 tonnes
What We’re After
* Trade qualified CNC Machinist with solid experience
* Confident with G-Code programming
* Strong with Fanuc controls
* Experience with Heidenhain and/or Siemens a bonus
* Able to read and work from engineering drawings and blueprints
* Reliable, safety-focused, and takes pride in quality work
