Duties as a Year 3/4 Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum. Support children in developing strong literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported and valued. Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of all learners. Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support. Foster children’s social, emotional, and personal development, encouraging resilience and self-confidence. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure each child reaches their full potential. Support and contribute to extracurricular activities, school events, and trips. Ideal Year 3/4 Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching at KS2. A strong understanding of the Year 3/4 curriculum and how to engage and challenge pupils. A passionate and creative approach to teaching and learning. Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with pupils, parents, and staff as a Year 3/4 Teacher. A commitment to high expectations and raising pupil attainment.
