37 hours per week We are looking to recruit an ambitious Occupational Therapist who is keen to lead and develop services in an integrated way. The successful candidate will operationally lead and manage the professional Occupational Therapy element of the Community Occupational Therapy Team within CRT (Community Resource Team); and to have delegated deputising responsibilities for the Integrated Specialist Assessment Service Manager, who has integrated clinical therapy responsibility for therapy staff and the Sensory Service across CRT and the Integrated Networks Teams. To work collaboratively with the CTM Lead professional in delivering OT service in Bridgend across BCBC and CTM. They will support effective flow and timeliness of work of the Occupational Therapy Service. To ensure that staff have the appropriate skills and knowledge to support need within Bridgend. To support the strategic development of the service in an integrated way. To be office available for professional consultation and leadership but available for joint visits on cases with the highest risk or challenge. Acting as a professional Occupational Therapy lead you will provide, operational support and specialist Occupational Therapy advice to the Integrated Specialist Assessment Service Manager, with day-to-day operational management and responsibility for the professional practice of Occupational Therapy. Supporting a multi- disciplinary approach, the team will focus on adults who are affected by long term complex and adverse conditions; implementing All Wales Safeguarding guidance to protect and support adults at risk.
