We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor preferably with prior experience in the marine sector who is able to work a mixture of remote, office and home working. Quantity Surveyor – The Company The company is an independent international engineering consultancy who provide effective solutions to worldwide marine and civil engineering projects that create successful ports, shipyards, and other maritime infrastructure. Quantity Surveyor – The Role * Preparation of accurate cost estimates * Bill of Quantities * Be familiar with industry pricing information * Provide clients with contractual, legal and procurement advice * Review of bills of quantities/price schedules for tender evaluations * Provide advice on procurement strategies and contract selection * Provide advice on claims and settlement strategies * Post-contract support * Liaise with Project Managers to develop existing working relationships as well as future work opportunities Quantity Surveyor – The Candidate We would welcome applications from those with Estimating, Quantity Surveying or Claims backgrounds.
