Oculus Legal Group has partnered with a leading UK law firm to hire a Senior Employment PSL.
They are seeking a Senior Employment PSL (Professional Support Lawyer) to join a top-tier firm. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly capable lawyer to lead and develop the firm’s employment law knowledge function, supporting fee earners across complex employment matters.
The role can based out of any regional office (North - South)
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain, and update the firm’s employment law know-how resources, ensuring lawyers have practical and up-to-date guidance on contentious and non-contentious matters.
* Deliver training sessions, briefings, and webinars to teams on employment law developments, case law updates, and strategic guidance.
* Draft precedents, guidance notes, checklists, and other resources to enhance quality and efficiency of employment advice.
* Collaborate with partners and senior fee earners on practice development and innovation in employment law.
* Support cross-office and regional teams, ensuring consistency of advice and approach across the firm.
Requirements:
* Strong employment law experience 5PQE+ (contentious and non-contentious), ideally in a top-tier UK law firm.
* PSL or knowledge management experience highly desirable; however, candidates with senior employment experience but without formal PSL background will also be considered.
* Excellent training, drafting, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal issues into practical guidance.
* Ability to work regionally or hybrid, collaborating effectively across multiple offices.
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of client-facing employment issues.
