We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Manager to join our clients team based out of their site near to Sandbach!
Our client is a large, well established fabrication company looking to take things to the next level and as such are on the hunt for an ambitious and experienced Production Manager to join their team.
What you'll be doing:
You'll be responsible for managing the production element of our clients business, with the assistance of a team of section leaders and supervisors.
Focusing on Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People (SQCDP) measures to demonstrate performance in each area.
On top of this, you'll be looking to invest in process development technology implementation to ensure safe and robust processes are implemented through the New Product Introduction, Continuous Improvement and Corrective Action Process.
The ideal candidate will be someone with previous production manager / Operations Manager experience within a automotive / fabrication background. Someone who's looking to grow with a business and assist it in becoming a no1 employer and industry leader.
Our clients staff are instrumental and extremely important to it's business, as such the successful hire will need to have excellent people person and management skills and be able to grow, nature and invest in a skilled production team.
Hours:
Monday - Thursday 7 AM - 5PM and Friday 7 AM - 12:30 PM.
There may also be an option for the successful candidate to work a rotating 6AM - 2PM and 2PM - 10PM shift, with each Friday still half a day.
Working hours are flexible and can be shaped around the right candidate.
Pay:
£50,000 - £60,000 per year, depending on experience + a £2000 signing on bonus.
Requirements:
Previous Production Manager / Operations Manager experience within a Automotive / Fabrication environment
Excellent people skills
Experience in safely launching new products
8D problem solving experience
Management to IATF 16949 and ISO 45001 requirements and standards
Resource planning and management
Management of a team of 80+ staff members
Previous multi shift management
