This is an opportunity to join a well-established Building Services Contractor with over 25 years of experience delivering bespoke M&E solutions on projects valued up to £100m.
The Role
You'll be assisting senior engineers with electrical design and delivery of complex building services projects. Working alongside a highly skilled engineering team, you'll have a great opportunity to gain a great level of exposure and direction from experienced professionals. This role is ideal for an engineer who has a year or two under their belt and is looking for quality training.
Key Responsibilities
Design and specification of electrical building services systems
Produce detailed calculations and design using industry software such as Amtech, Electrical OM, Relux, and Revit, but happy to train up on any software for the right candidate
Prepare design drawings, technical specifications, and tender documentation
Produce designs and drawings of fire alarms, access doors, lighting, emergency lighting and more
Attend design team meetings, site visits, and inspections as required
Ensure designs comply with current legislation, standards, and best practiceKey Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum 1-5 years of experience in electrical building services design
Working experience with design software
Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice
Working towards membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIBSE) desirable
Full UK driving licence preferredWhat's On Offer
