Cathays High School is seeking to appoint an excellent full-time Spanish Teacher on a maternity cover. We are looking for someone to begin on Monday 16th March and the job will continue until Friday December 18th 2026. The role is suitable for NQTs. We require a teacher to plan and deliver high quality teaching and learning experiences from KS3 to KS4; that meet the needs of our students. We will require you to use assessment information to plan for the progress and achievement of all young people in your classes. The ability and/ or willingness to teach another subject will be an advantage. The post will also involve teaching English to students who have recently arrived in the UK.
You will assist in the development of an appropriate syllabus, resources and schemes of work, and to assist the Raising Standards Leader and the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that Spanish lessons help to deliver the school’s strategic objectives.
