GSL Education are looking for an inspiring SEMH Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Rotherham. As an SEMH Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that meet the individual learning needs of pupils with SEMH challenges. Foster a nurturing, structured, and supportive classroom environment that encourages emotional regulation and academic success. Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to implement individual education and behaviour support plans. Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to promote engagement, resilience, and self-confidence. Monitor progress, assess outcomes, and adapt teaching approaches to support continuous improvement. Requirements for the SEMH Teacher role: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching pupils with SEMH, SEND, or behavioural difficulties (preferred). Strong classroom management and communication skills. A compassionate, patient, and reflective approach to teaching. An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
