What You’ll Be Doing
* Monitor and track cloud spend across various platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
* Assist in forecasting cloud costs and provide regular variance analysis.
* Identify opportunities for cloud cost optimisation, including rightsizing, reserved instances, and volume discounts.
* Provide regular updates to senior management on cloud expenditure, trends, and savings opportunities.
* Work closely with cloud architects, IT, and engineering teams to implement cost‑effective solutions.
* Suggest process improvements for cloud cost management as the company grows and scales its cloud usage.
What You’ll Have
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud financial management tools is preferred.
* Familiarity with cloud billing models and services such as compute, storage, networking, and database services.
* Proficient in Excel or other financial modelling tools. Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.
* Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimisation.
* Enthusiasm about cloud technologies and the evolving FinOps landscape.
