System Engineer

We are seeking a System Engineer to support the design, replication, and commissioning of fluid systems on major infrastructure programmes. You will analyse existing designs, review input data, and apply lessons learned to ensure accurate system replication.
Core responsibilities include producing system documentation, completing mechanical and I&C sizing, performing component sizing and thermal-hydraulic modelling, and providing technical input to procurement. You will manage design updates, assess modification requests, and deliver clear technical solutions to maintain design stability.
You will also support commissioning by taking part in project reviews, updating documentation, and providing system-level inputs to commissioning plans and sequencing.
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in process engineering or related field
* Strong understanding of fluid systems design, including process, hydraulic and mechanical sizing, instrumentation and control, and basic electrical principles
* Ability to manage workload effectively and deliver high-quality documentation to deadlines
* Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
* Comfortable collaborating with distributed or remote teams
Desirable:
* Familiarity with system design principles, I&C architecture, and safety classification frameworks
* Experience in nuclear, large infrastructure, or industrial projects
* Ability to read or produce technical documentation in French
