Chef Manager – Ashfield Junior School, Bushey
Term‑time only position, 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 38 weeks per year.
Hourly rate: £14.20 per hour – negotiable for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client.
* Ensure the location meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures.
* Enhance the company’s reputation for excellent food and service, ensuring expectations are consistently exceeded.
* Responsible for daily running of the location and supervise teams, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
* Act as the main point of contact for the client, recommending and implementing regular adjustments and improvements.
* Communicate regularly with line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets to ensure achievement.
* Support and train teams, leading from the front to ensure all training is completed and performance is managed.
Qualifications & Requirements
