Job Title: Secondary Modern Foreign Languages Teacher
Location: Bacup
Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract Type: Temporary, Full-Time
About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality lessons in one or more foreign languages (French, Spanish, German, etc.) across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, inspire students to engage with language learning, and support their academic development. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about promoting cultural understanding and fluency in a foreign language.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and language acquisition.
Support students in their preparation for GCSE exams, providing additional resources and guidance where needed.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the MFL curriculum.Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Modern Foreign Languages (French, Spanish, German, or other languages).
Experience teaching MFL at secondary school level (Key Stage 3 & 4).
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to adapt lessons for students with varying abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
