TRUMPF Laser Technologies is seeking an experienced, energetic, self-motivated Returns and Repairs Coordinator who will oversee the movement and processing of customer equipment. You will be responsible for collaborating and driving results with various divisions of the company to solve problems and expediently resolve open repair topics for customers. The Returns and Repairs Coordinator will use a variety of soft skills and industry knowledge of best practices to improve operational efficiency and organizational synergy. This role requires working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and cross-functionality with warehouse and shipping responsibilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Repairs:
* Create quotes and sales orders in SAP to support customer repair processes.
* Generate purchase orders in SAP for repairs and vendor credit requests.
* Maintain tracking sheets with relevant information to monitor KPIs.
* Coordinate with offices in Germany to ensure timely repairs, follow up on long lead cases, and expedite as needed.
Returns:
* Process all return shipments accurately and update SAP orders accordingly.
* Complete transactions for returns and price adjustments, including refunds, exchanges, and credit memos, after thorough inspection.
* Process warranty/RMA parts to be returned to inventory or supplier.
* Handle vendor return approvals where appropriate.
Warehouse cross-coverage:
* Back up for Shipping and Receiving Coordinator.
* Package outbound shipments according to best practices to avoid loss or damages.
* Use SAP Ship ERP to create shipping labels and export documents.
Overall:
* Follow up with customers in a timely manner.
* Refine and optimize SOPs as needed.
* Implement digital solutions to streamline processes and promote continuous improvement.
* Ensure meeting management goals, e.g., revenue for open returns.
* Provide cross-training to CSR and S&R Coordinators to ensure redundancy.
Travel:
* Occasional business travel (<10%) for meetings or training, possibly including overnight stays.
Education & Experience
* 2-4 years' experience in fast-paced order fulfillment or distribution centers; automotive or industrial parts supply experience preferred.
* Knowledge of warehousing and inventory procedures beneficial.
* Experience with warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.).
* Working knowledge of ERP software, preferably SAP.
* Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
* Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
